 Piclan & Win 95 Dialup

Hi,

Does anybody know if Win95, Piclan  2.0.0.7 and Piclan dial up
networking, work?

I have tried configuring it, but just get an unable to open socket
message from the Piclan Win 95 client software.

If anyone has had any luck with this I'd really appreciate your tips.

Thanks

Monolith support staff.

 Piclan & Win 95 Dialup

I've had no problem getting ordinary Piclan functions to work under
Win95 and do file transfers from and to Pick using the Piclan
subroutines, but it's just this dial up networking aspect I'm having
problems with.

Let me re-post a synopsis by Doug:

Hi,

With the help of Victor Iborra, we have get it working. It's easy.

Our configuration :

HOST -> PICLAN 2.0.0.8  IPX Router support Frame 802.3  Net number = 1
        timeout = 3000

PC with WIN 95 conectec via Ethernet to the PICK host

NE2000          -> IPX/SPX -> Net number = 1 ; frame type = 802.3
Dial-up adapter -> IPX/SPX -> Net number = 0 ; frame type = auto

dial-up server in Win95 Plus! (yes it is)

PC with WIN 95, conected to the other PC via DIAL-UP adapter

Dial-ip adapter -> IPX/SPX -> Net number = 0 ; frame type = auto
PICLAN CLIENT 2.0.0.9
 In the setup :  x setup for operations over a dial-up network link
                 X multi segment network with IPX router
                 X multiple LAN adapter (if you have a dial-up adapter and
a ne2000)

and that's all. Yes it work, slow but work.

fist connect the home computer to the othe WIN 95 via Dial up adapter.
