 iidevices problem

I am running Ingres 6.4(5.02) on an HP9000 model G30, running HPUX.
When I sysmod my database, the sysmod hangs everytime on table iidevices.
If I do "help table iidevices", the report says that the number of rows
is 27.  If I use qbf, and just hit "go" I get no rows returned.

So obviously iidevices is messed up somewhere in the system catalogs.

The question is: how to fix it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
