How find out screen-size with VFP3/Mac?

Hello,

when I call _SCREEN.width I get the width of FoxPro's main window. But
on the Mac I prefer to place windows on the "desktop". So I have to find
out the size of my computers screen. How is this done?

Thanks, Albrecht Haug.

In the Macintosh, SROWS() returns the number of rows in the desktop, and
WROWS( "" ) returns the number of rows in the FoxPro SCREEN.  SCOLS()
and WCOLS( "" ) work similarly. (Note:  The null string in WROWS()
means, "It's the FoxPro screen."

There is another posibility which I found now (and it returns pixels,
not foxels):
-------------------------------------------------------------
Returns the size of the operating system's screen elements.

Syntax

SYSMETRIC(nScreenElement)

Arguments

nScreenElement

Specifies a screen element. The following table shows values for
nScreenElement and the corresponding screen element.

nScreenElement  Screen Element
1       Screen width
2       Screen height. The Macintosh screen height excludes the menu bar
height.
---------------------------------------------------------------
