 FP 2.6 Macro help
I am adding macros to an application
When I use the enter key it is not saved to the macro all other
characters are saved but not the enter - I tried ASCII 013 and
CNTRL+M but both are ignored

The macros are being added to a group of existing macros, in
the Foxpro 2.6 app program under system - macros

If I do the macro in the program Shift +F10 it overwrites the
macro but is gone when program is restarted.

Is is possible you have your enter key mapped? Is there an

ON KEY LABEL ENTER  ...

command in effect?

I get the impression that you are able to create the macro, but it
disappears when the program terminates. Try saving the macros to a file
and then restoring from this file at the start of the application:

SAVE MACROS TO...
RESTORE MACROS FROM...

When I am starting up FoxPro I use a startup routine like some use VIEWS,
but in any of these startups that you want to add macro to using ENTER try
ON KEY LABEL.  It works great but to cance some sequence involving the ENTER
key I use:

ON ESCAPE ON KEY LABEL ENTER

and this cancels it for me
