I heard last week that Visual Studio, if entirely installed will take up 1
Gig.  Just thought I'd pass that along.  Get ready :)  It's coming.

Unfortunately, no.  This is certainly planned for the future, but it
sounds like a huge job to me.

Does anyone know whether the Visual FoxPro that comes with Visual
Studio is a NEW Visual FoxPro integrated into the Visual C++/J++ style
of development environment?

It's not that strange, as it contains Visual Basic, Visual
C++, Visual J++, Visual
FoxPro and Visual InterDev. If you add up the size of all
FULL installations, you can easily reach a Gig (I think not
that much, having many components in common).

The question is: Who actually need to install ALL the
products at the same time? It's not a bad idea to have it
at hand (just in case...). Altought you are part of a
corporate R&D department or a software house, and then you
have it all there in the server, for use by many people. I
think the target is more that last than the first.

Anyway, I think is good news that in such a package we
found VFP, and -finnally- NOT Access.

My sentiments exactly.  And they, (Access Developers), claim Access is a
programming language?
