 hash indexing
I hope this is the right place to post this..
I'm doing a project on hash indexing and hoped to try out some theories on
the postgresql backend.
Is there any way that I can control the organization of the hash file in
therms of how to alter the bucketfiller (lame expression but there must be
one of some sort) or its algorithms? can I write functions to do it, or is
that a stupid approach ?  Mabye someone know a nice howto on handeling
hashing and filling buckets in postgresql.

thanx
