Are you creating compiled queries and then deleting them to append records.
If so, this will cause the MDB files to bloat. The best way around it is to
create temp queries or parameter queries.

Heck, I've got a database where you can add ten records and it will bloat
out to a hundred megabytes (but it's storing BLOBs the size of small
moutains).  What kind of field structures are you using.  Don't forget that
deleting a record will also leave bloat...  ...eventually you'll have to
compress the sucker.

Hi,

No, a simple adress database, but a lot of compiled queries and
10 User which work on a networkdrive with this database.

So many Emails tell we,  if you use compiled queries  than this
error will come. No workaround for this.

Best wishes from Austria
Peter

Yep... the pre-optimization on your compiled queries is going to bloat the
DB.  Only work around is to minimize your use of the queries, limit the
usage to tables which don't change much, or rewrite them so that they use
less columns, etc.  But I'm sure you've been there...

I wish you luck...
