 ADO, Command, CommandText, String Limit
Hello,

When I assign a command Objects .CommandText Property a long SQL string
(+350 chars), it appears to cut off everything after the 255 character.  Is
there a way to execute a long query in ADO??

Thanks, Michael

Hi Michael,

You can move your SQL statements into stored procedures.

Val,

I'm using Access2k VBA for both the code/DBMS.  Also I don't think Access2k
even has stored procedures, is there any other way?

Hi Michael,

It does not have stored procedures, but it has similar
feature which calls "stored queries". It is some sort of
SPs, but specific to Access.
