Looking for SQL parser or SQL grammar

hi,
I'm looking for a Java parser for SQL.
Does anyone know if there exist some parser like this?
If a parser is not available, where can I get SQL grammar so that I
can write a simple parser myself?

Thanks in advance !

Looking for SQL parser or SQL grammar

That page

http://www.cs.ucla.edu/~dongwon/JavaCC/

has many grammar-definition files for Java Compiler-Compiler.
It also has definitions for PL/SQL (I think, it's better than nothing).

I've got a parser, it is based on the grammar Vadim was talking
about (with some fixes, and restricted to SQL).

Principle:
- Extracts the SQL information into java objects
- You can use the java objects to do what you like after
(the api is documented, and there's a demo source file).

The only problem: the source is not available for download
because it's part of commercial developments and I'm not paid
to build freeware, some managers say ;)
(but you can see the way it works and code something similar,
it's not so tough ! - or maybe buy the source from us? I don't know,
I'm no salesman)

Have a look at

Let me know if you find bugs (and use the package as you like).

Enjoy,
