Help me Where I am Wrong !!!
I am executing this statemnet in VB6 using DataEnvironment.

DE1.Conppm.Execute "UPDATE [PREV_PLAN] SET SUBMITTED='1',SUBMIT_DATE =" &
MyDate & " WHERE PD_CODE=" & txtPdcode.Text & ""

It shows the '01/01/1900' in the Submit_Date field  after executing.

Best Regards
Ijaz

Hi,

you need to use the date delimiters.  These depend on your database.
Access uses a #data# format and SQL Server uses "date" (I think, or is
it %data%?)

try:
DE1.Conppm.Execute "UPDATE [PREV_PLAN] SET SUBMITTED='1',SUBMIT_DATE =#" &
MyDate & "# WHERE PD_CODE=" & txtPdcode.Text & ""
