Incorrect number in DBEdit field ?

Incorrect number in DBEdit field ?
One user who is running a sales order form displays incorrect data on the
form.  The total box is calculated from all the line items and posted to the
totals dbedit.  On one machine out of 30 the total number is calculated
correctly and posted to the database but always shows up on this one machine
as $1 or $3.  If you look at the same sales order on another machine the
correct amount like $19,789.00 shows up.  Any suggestions ?

I hope someone can guess the right answer from the info you gave.
ut if you don't get good suggestions, try giving a bit more data:
-Which operating system, in the working PCs and in the problem PC
-Which CPU, maybe 486 or erroneous old Pentium chip
  -Which Delphi version
-Which BDE version, and Language driver settings
  -Which database
-What are the Windows country settings for decimal point
-Is there TTable, TQuery or what used
  -etc.

And of course, is there any simple way how that problem could
be reproduced? Some minimal test app maybe?
