Displaying 10 records at a time from Oracle 8i

We are developing a web-based application based on the thin client
architecture.  On the server side we have JSP, Servlets, EJB and Oracle
8i.  When the user selects the query option we want to display 10
records at a time; buttons for next10 (essential) and previous10
(desirable) are available to the user.  Since the number of records
that satisfy the query could be large we cannot send the full set to
the client.

Any help in solving the problem would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Anil Divate
