 need advice on reports

I am creating a vb app using vb 6.0. It is for the food industry however to
simply explain it, I'll use a similar example. The user runs the program and
the main form opens. The user enters various data for a customer into text
boxes and then saves this data to an access 98 mdb. There is only one table
in this mdb and each record represents a customer.

I want the user to be able to select a customer from the database and then
print a report that shows just the data for this one customer. this data
will fit on one page. I want to make the report look professional with logo,
lines, etc. No calculations are needed, the data will come directly from the
mdb.

I've played around with Crystal Reports but am having trouble. I'm not sure
this is the best route to go and now I see that vb 6 has something called
Data Reports? Can somone explain the best way to do this? I'm a novice so
please be as descriptive as possible.
Thanks

I would develop a Crystal Report, with the report developer, and have it
'point' to a query in your MDB file.

Have this query set a parameter field(s).  For your example you might just
need the customer ID.

Within VB open the query (DAO) update the paramater value to equal the
customer ID, Open the report and fire it off.

Once you know the CR object model it is not that hard.
