 JConnect 5.0

Hi all,

I've recently downloaded JConnect 5.0 to use in conjunction with my
Symantec Visual Cafe DE 3.0.

I'm having difficulties in using JConnect as my import statement at the
top of my source code:

    import com.sybase.jdbc2.SybDriver;

generates the following error:

....Class com.sybase.jdbc2.SybDriver not found in import.

I've added the JDBC_HOME and JAVA_HOME variables as described in the
JConnect installation documentation to no avail.

Can anyone please assist me in making use of these libraries?

I've also downloaded JDK 1.2 seperately - as opposed to using Visual
Cafe - and this didn't help either.

Thanks,
Jacques

Add the file jconn2.jar to your CLASSPATH. Regards

Thanks to Thomas Eitzenberger and Andree Grobe for helping me with this.

The answer was to simply make sure that the JConnect .jar file was in the
CLASSPATH by adding it both to my MS-NT environment variables and my
VisualCafe variables (sc.ini file).
