 HELP..........

Invoke the setfocus method of the form to give the form the focus.  As for
the window, as far as I know, you cannot suppress the Access window although
you can bring up a bitmap instead of the splash screen.  HTH

 HELP..........

dear netters,

I want to ask you something:

In Visual Basic, I know that we can call an Access database Form, using
Access.Application object. But my problem is, everytime I try to call my
Access Form, the form never be focused. How to make the Form I called to be
focused.

Another thing is, can I call the form without shoing Microsoft Access window
(I want only the Form be showed, not in an Access Window) ?

Thanks.

 HELP..........
G'day HS,

On the Tools Menu, choose Startup and there's a checkbox that if ticked will
hide the Access Database Window whenever Access is opened.  Only trouble is,
any smart user can simply uncheck the box and turn the window back on again.

If you really want to hide the sucker, there's code for doing just that in
the Access97 Developers Handbook by Ken Getz, et al.  It's on page 1281.
