 Deleting UDB/JDBC Stored Procedures

Hi,

I am re-submitting this posting because it appears that no one has found
an answer to it and I am having the same problems. Any help would be
very much appreciated! Thanks!

I am trying to create a stored procedure in Java, for DB2. Now,
when I create one, and put it into the right directory, register it,
call it, there are no problems. The stored procedure executes nicely,
returning results.

Then I decide to change somthing in method that's implementing that
stored procedure, let's say signature, (to accept additional parameter),

or to add percentages differently, and compile it, put it again in the
right directory, call it - it calls again the old one.
As a matter of fact, even when i delete the class that implements the
stored procedure from the database server, it still executes!!!!

How to resolve this? Is this a Java class loader problem?
Is there a parameter saying 'unload this class, and reload' if the class

has changed?
I looked at the 'Embedded SQL Programming Guide' for DB2, and there's a
notion of
stored procedure returning some values (SQLZ_DISCONNECT_PROC ,
SQLZ_HOLD_PROC),
which determine if the server loads/unloads library.

Maybe you should drop the procedure before re-creating it. (drop procedure
statement)

I hope it helps, Igor.
