 Strange MDB

Hi All,

I have a verry big problem at hand. I've written an app. in VB 4.0.
This uses an Access 7.0 database. When writing the app I (ofcourse)
filled the database with test data. All worked fine.

I made an installation set, installed it on the customers PC and after
a few days he called me about an error in the app. What happend ?
When calling a CrystalReport report (Rep_A) he got an "Runtime 28, out
of stack" error. Starting the app again would result in a GPF.

Rep_B which uses the same methode for calling the report and using the
same MDB (different tables) works fine. The problem is however that I
don't get the error using my test database, and do get the error using
the customers database. It actually should be one and the same MDB. So
I compared structures in Access just to be sure (which by the way is
hell of a job) but they turned out to be the same.

What I've found out:
- Using the customers MDB results in 1 runtime error 28 and after that
in GPF's
- Using the customers MDB for the other report works fine
- Using the test MDB runs fine
- Using an empty test MDB and then filling with new data gives GPF's
- Copying the customers MDB data to the test MDB gives GPF's

I don't know what to do .... and where to look for the error....

Who can help me out of this missery ???

Gabrie

have you tried running it in crystal IDE?
it doesn't sound like DLL problems but you might go to
http://www.rica.net/wmingee and get the DSX program.
