 How to use/understand stored procedures?
Hi!
I got a file yesterday that appears to be a stored procedure. Unfortunately
I don't know anything about them and I'm not sure how I can use it in my VB
app.

I've never used stored procedures before and am having difficulty finding
useful information about them in MSDN. Can anyone point me in the right
direction for information?

Also, how do I see what is inside a stored procedure? Are there function
names I can call from VB? Anyone got some good examples?

Thanks in advance!!!

Tim,
Here is a pretty good overview of stored procedures.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/devprods/vs6/vb/html/vbconstoredprocsq
leditor.htm  If you need more information, try going to
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library, click on Search MSDN, and look for
articles relating to stored procedures.  There are a bunch of them out
there, you will just need to wade through the amounts of information
retrieved.
