 Merging Oracle with Word
Hi,

I need to know how to merge Oracle database fields with MS Word.  Can anyone
tell me how this can be done?

 Merging Oracle with Word

Hi Chris,

Basically this can be done in either one of two ways:

1 - setup an ODBC datasource, and use the mailmerge facility of word to get
your data.
This is viable if you have one static document
2 Assuming your client software has OLE capabilities, make sure there are
bookmarks in your document. Open the word document through OLE and put the
text at the appropriate bookmark.
This is especially suitable if the document itself is data-dependent
(License documents in 14 different languages)
