CPU Statistics as a result of Oracle

Hi All,
Does anybody know of a way of determining the CPU usage as a direct result
of processing by an ORACLE system?

I would not be surprised if this is not possible, but I thought it might be
worth asking the news group.

To make things harder I would prefer the solution to be platform
independent. So using task manager in windows is not a solution.

This would mean the only way this type of info could be obtained would be if
it already exists in one of the V$ views. From my experience nothing like
that is there but if any body has any ideas, I would surely appreciate them.

Thanks in advance.

Andy.

I am not aware of a way of doing it as you suggest. It is however exactly
the sort of thing that sysadmins do using os specific tools (like task
manager).

The answer is operating system dependent.
