So is it just me or is this person advertising that they will discriminate
based on race/country of origin?  I wonder if they know how open they have
made themselves and their company to lawsuits?  (unless this was just a
troll. )

I caught that also.  According to their web site:

"With headquarters and offshore development centers in Chennai (India),
Kumaran also has offices in Toronto (Canada) as well as in Washington DC &
San Francisco (US). In addition, Kumaran operates through its excellent
network of channel partners in about 30 countries. "

So it is quite possible that it is not a troll.  Looking at the executive
list it looks to be made up of all Indian so it is likely that is where the
slant is coming from.  On their web site it does not indicate that Indian's
only apply.  So what we may be seeing is an overjealous employee posting
this and they probably know that the company won't hire any non-Indians so
the posting reflects that.

While I have no beef with Indians or their working in this country, I do
have a beef with such blatant discrimination.  I would never use these
people for anything and would encourage others to boycott them.

This is a  weird statemen on their career page:
"In Kumaran we thrive on constant challenge, driven by total commitment,
fuelled by pure inspiration and motivated by unparalled success"

I don't think they know what inspiration means.  Are they saying that they
wait for the Muse to hit; most of us do it by being extremely competent.

It is illegal to restrict nationality in the US.  You will be sued and
subjected to fines.  You can restrict nationality only if the person will be
based in India and travel from their home base to the US.  However, if they
will be paid in dollars on US soil, you cannot post an add like this.

Go to

http://www.eeoc.gov

You could be subjected to a massive class action suit depending on the size
of your company.

If I were a US citizen (and I'm not) I'd encourage folk to complain to the
relevant authority (looks like the EEOC). Racial discrimination is not
something that should be swept under the carpet.

I filed a complaint yesterday.  We will see what happens.  I would encourage
others to do the same.  Yes the eeoc is the relevant agency.  Since I am
currently looking for a job I also got a job email from one of these
services and this was one of the jobs on the list.  Again it "encourage only
Indians to apply".  Let me stress I am against discrimination NOT Indians.
