 Oracle Terminal (oraterm??m) - *sob*

Why did they even bother releasing this stuff?

Has anyone found an easy way of converting a *.r terminal file to a
*.res file?  The only solution I've found was to create a *.res from
scratch, but oraterm is clearly not up to the job (when they key maps that
they provide you for a Sun-5 keyboard are _wrong_, there's a problem).

Has anyone seen a list of all the available actions (i.e. Next Field, Help,
Delete Backwards, etc.).  Gloriously, it seems that some of the old actions
had their name change between the two versions.

Hallo,
there is a list of action codes in the "Forms Advanced Technics" manual.

There's a program called otx which is supposed to do the upgrade for
you, but tends to core dump. That's a known bug. :-(

True, but not much of a change: mainly they've changed from 'field' to
'item'.
The Oracle Help Desk suggestion was to modify the supplied (working)
res files, rather than to try and build a new one from scratch. It is
possible. But not nice.

Get ALL the documentation from Oracle that you can: Terminal 2
documentation (then bin it), Forms 4.5 Advanced techniques appendix A
(which doesn't match the supplied files...), and every note or
bulletin the help desk can send you...

Lemme know if you need pointing in the right direction.
