Open Server problem on Solaris 2.3

we're building Open Servers on a Solaris 2.3 platform, and are running into
occasional errors where the Open Server hangs, and stored procedures which
attempt to invoke rpc's to this server fail, with the following messages
logged into the SQL Server errorlog for each attempt:

00: 94/08/15 14:01:09.00 kernel: ninitconn_free: t_unbind, fd = 13,
    An event requires attention
00: 94/08/15 14:01:09.24 kernel: nconnect: t_rcvconnect,
    An event requires attention

only solution is to kill -9 the open server and restart it.

we're using the current srvlib.a (V2.0, i believe) for solaris 2.3.  we're
running on a 4-cpu sparc1000 server.

the same code works just fine when compiled and run using the open server
library on our Solaris 1.x (i don't remember x, it's the current version of
SunOS) platform (a sparc10).

we've also noticed that the performance of the rpc's under SunOS
is much better.  we're speculating that the implementation of the
socket library under solaris 2.3 is the problem there.

comments or experience anyone?  i can post the open server code which
handles the rpc's (we're using registered procedures) if anyone is interested.

We had a similar problem under Solaris 2.3. I got version 2.0.1 of the Open
Server library via an EBF and that seems to have solved the problem.

Under Solaris Sybase has gone to TLI that's why the errors you see have "t_"
in front.
