 backup server message 4.145.2.22
Last night my backup server gave following message:

May 15 03:06:26 2002: D00: SYBMULTBUF ERROR: Unexpected error or EOF for
database device. Attempted to read 55
296 bytes, but 49152 bytes were read by sys_read_obj.
May 15 03:06:26 2002: Backup Server: 4.145.2.22: [60] Error for device
'/dev/nrmt0h'. Unexpected error or EOF
for database device. Attempted to read 55296 bytes, but 49152 bytes were
read by sys_read_obj.

This kind of message always be given when database volume increased. DBCC is
ok. Any suggestion? thanks alot.

The message is confusing. It mentions a database device but
cites /dev/nrmt0h which appears to be a tape device.
