a developper in our team is having the following trouble :

Inserting a duplicate row in a table with an unique index generates this :

- client DB Lib/Sybase 10, SunOs 4.1.3 :

Msg 2601, Level 14, State 3
Line 1
Attempt to insert duplicate key...
...
Command has been aborted.

Fine !

but :

- client DB Lib/Sybase 10, Solaris 2.4, using DB Lib :

DB-Library error:
General SQL Server error: Check messages from the SQL Server.

Then the application exits. Gasp !

Our SQL Server is a Sybase 10 Server/SunOs 4.1.3.
The application code is the same on both clients.

Is it an OS related trouble, patches to apply on Solaris ?

Any idea is welcome.
