We have been retained by a major Investment Bank in New York City to
staff their immediate need for several experienced SYBASE DBA's. These
are PERMANENT positions.

The bank's new Global Web Trading System group needs two Sybase DBA's
to support development and production areas. The bank is also in the
process of migrating several large mission critical database apps and
instances from Sybase 4.9 and 10 to Sybase 11.

Candidates will be implementing new databases procedures and
standards, as well as, performing hands-on DBA duties.

Duties include logical and physical design, performance tuning, stored
procedures and disaster recovery issues. You will also be involved in
building a new team of DBA's and SA's for the Global Web project.

Evaluate new tools such as (Sybase DataMart/Warehouse, Sybase IQ,
Sybase Replication Server.

You must have most of the following:

- 8+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years of Sybase DBA (4.9 and 10; 11 a plus)
- Strong Stored Procedures/Triggers
- Exposure to Replication Server 10/11
- Any C++/VC++/Java front-end knowledge
- Good interpersonal skills
- Citizenship or Green Card

In addition to an attractive salary ($80k to $130k + Bonus), matched
