 SQL Server 6.0 text retrieval question...
I would like to find out

1.if the standard bcp utility performs bcp-in of text fields
greater than 255 characters in length. (if yes, using what
options)


than 255 characters (from inside a stored procedure.)

yes.  no options necessary.  BCP works on text columns fine, or at least
MS BCP <-> MS SQL does.

You can't load T-SQL variables with > 255 chars if that's what you're
