 OUTER joins SYNTAX

All,

SELECT * FROM A LEFT JOIN B ON A.x = B.y WHERE ...

Is this possible on Sybase SQL Server. MS Access, MS SQL Server and Oracle Rdb do support this...

Thanks,

Sijmen Koffeman.

The Sybase syntax is

select *
  from A, B
 where A.x *= B.y

(I think this is the correct translation of your Access query, but just
in case it isn't, my query will return all of the rows in A and any that
match in B.)
