ODBC to SQLANY with Borland Pascal 7

did anybody of you manage to access a Sybase SQLAnywhere 5.x database from
a Borland Pascal 7 DOS-based protected mode application, using self-brewed
or third-party-supplied code?

Or: Did anybody do that with a C dialect, maybe Borland C, so I could use
that code as a starting point?

If so, I would love to learn how to do it -- or why it is not possible.

I also wonder why our SQLANY server and client does not include an API
(DLL, or anything) for DOS-based programming languages? Or am I looking at
the wrong place?

Thanx in advance.
