file, and then parse the file.  However, you can't access the file until
the script completes.  If you need dynamic interaction with SQL Server
outside of an isql script, then you should use Open Client CTlib or
DBlib. I recommend Sybperl for quick and dirty stuff.

isql does not AND IT'S FREE....
