 A SQL question

If I have two tables with identical
columns (e.g. tables: temp1, temp2 on database DEVTVR)
and I want to create a view that consists
contents of both tables combined i.e.

select * from temp1
union
select * from temp2

Is there any way to do this without using
union which isn't legal in views ?

Why not just use the query as is? Or embody it in an SP?
