 Upgrading System 10.0.1 to 10.0.2
Does anyone have any useful tips on upgrading from 10.0.1 to 10.0.2 on an
HP-UX HP9000 server?  I just don't want to get stuck with any known
problems.  In advance I did read the upgrade manual but since I wasn't the
one who originally installed the Server I'm a little spooked since this is
our production server and we don't have a test platform to test it on.
Thanks

For us, converting to Sybase 10.0.2 was a piece of cake... I think
that it took a whopping 20 minutes for a 5 gig database...  we've
found some bugs with Sybase 10.0.2 but that's a different story...

The minimum size for sybsystemprocs increases to 12 MB.  I think
the default size of sybsystemprocs prior to 10.0.2 was 10 MB, so you
might want to check this and expand its size prior to conversion if
need be.  When we converted last November, the documentation was not
clear that the minimum size had changed.  As a result we fell on our
face on our first conversion attempt because the installmaster script
required the extra space for new system stored procedures.
