 The two-gigabyte file size limit
I require a solution to the following problem:

I have created a script, which archives my instance to disk.  However,
the instance requires over 5GB to be backed up and unfortunately
Informix doesn't allow a file to be created larger than 2GB.  How can
I resolve this, I must use ontape, and I want to keep my backup script
as simple as possible!!  Thanks for any solutions.

1.    Back up to tape
2.    Back up to raw disk
