Is a Function (Informix standard like UPPER(), TRIM()...)
exist to make an encryption and revers
whith CHAR-VARCHAR or TEXT column ?
(to storing  - login password - or - secret data -)

Only if you go do IDS.2000 or Foundation.2000.
You'd then use a datablade to do this. However, there are some drawbacks
and you have to consider what it is you are trying to do.
