Help! I've just converted from SE (3B2) to ONLINE (Starserver E 660)

My simplest report won't produce any output. The select section is  
satisfied (I tested in query language).

Report ex: select signature from employee where initials = $thisguy

Query Language ex: select signature from employee where initials = "FM"

All my other reports work fine with the exception of my "simplest" report.

Any replys would be much appreciated.
