 strange session

When i start IDS7.30.FC7 on HP 11:
oninit -s
into quiescent mode,  my logfile shows:

07:18:39  Quiescent Mode
07:18:39  Checkpoint Completed:  duration was 1 seconds.
07:19:01  (20) connection rejected - no calls allowed for sqlexec
07:19:01  listener-thread: err = -27002: oserr = 0: errstr = : No
connections are allowed in Dynamic Server quiescent mode.

07:20:26  (23) connection rejected - no calls allowed for sqlexec
07:20:26  listener-thread: err = -27002: oserr = 0: errstr = : No
connections are allowed in Dynamic Server quiescent mode.

and so on .
and when i put informix into on-line state my logical logs are filling
very fast and there is no session in informix !
In my opinion session that fill logical logs ( an trying to connect to
IDS in quiescent mode ) is session 53:

$ o -g ses

There is too low information. Please, send more log and onstat -a.

 strange session
Those messages in the log indicate that some user process is trying to
attach to the engine while it is in Quiescent mode, a no-no.  I take it
that the messages stop as soon as you place the engine in ONLINE mode
(onmode -m)?  Exactly what that user informix session is I cannot guess
but since it comes back every minute or so I'd guess some script that is
trying to perform some task in a loop checking return codes until it
succeeds.  Or a task with a CONNECT statement running with
INFORMIXCONTIME and INFORMIXCONRETRY set so that it repeatedly retries the
CONNECT automatically periodically until it succeeds.  Annoying but
probably harmless and possibly desireable if that process MUST run when
the engine returns to online status.
