I'm having problems loading the "Sunset Data Base" for
          HyperScript Tools software. Once I select from the DEMOS
          menu option,"Create Sunset Database", After a short while I
          get the following message. "SQL error(-457): SQL engine
          terminated unexpectedly".

          My Host machine is an Intergraph with UNIX and OnLine. I'm
          running Informix-Net with PC/TCP. 4GL 4.10 UD2 and ISQL 4.10
          UD1.

          Also, I can't find this error message in any of my manuals.

          Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

          Here I am again. I'm still trying to get the "Sunset" data

          However, I can get to other data bases that I have on the
          host through Data Link.

          With HyperScript Tools...

Please clarify.

If your version of FTP's PC/TCP is 2.3, this product cause trouble - I would
recommend you log a support call with your local Informix people for an
appropriate work around.

If your version of PC/TCP is 2.2, the 'etc' files must exist in c:\etc, this
includes hosts, services, protocols.  Check the install notes for the
configuration of these files.

If DataLink works, do you mean DL in HST or DL in Wingz or earlier - this is
odd, usually once DL is working, all comms are working.

Have you got a local instance loaded (SE for DOS) ?

Overall, HST is usually a 'plug and play' toy, but I agree that, sometimes
a PC or a netowrk configuration can make the initial setup a bore.

I'm happy to foloow this up if you get a little more info.

Are you using I-Net 5.01 or 4.10?  And what version of FTP's PC/TCP?

If your getting -854, Back end not found, it sounds like the engine
is not up and running or the I-Net connection is missing.  Make sure:

1) If using I-Net 4.10, you start remsql BEFORE entering Windows.

2) Make sure the I-Net or I-Star daemon is running on the server

3) If using FTP's PC/TCP, make sure services, hosts, and protocol files
   are in a directory called c:\etc on your PC.
