Detecting In-Place ALTER TABLE

 Detecting In-Place ALTER TABLE
We have been having some trouble with IDS 7.3 that may
be related to a problem with the in-place alter table
algorithm.  I would like to perform dummy updates on all
of my tables to get every page on the current version.

Is there a simple way to query the system catalog or the
sysmaster database to determine which tables have pending
alterations?

Thanks,

Jeff

Check out oncheck -pt. <table>

It should have the number of versions currently within the table.  I
don't think that this is available via sysmaster.

 Detecting In-Place ALTER TABLE
Well, yeah, but I have to run that individually for
every table (over 100 in this database).  I was looking
for a shortcut that could tell me which tables I need
to look at.
