P       Past. The year is expanded with both the current and past
centuries. The closest date PRIOR to today's date is chosen.
F       Future. The year is expanded with both the current and future
centuries. The closest date AFTER today's date is chosen.
C       Closest. The year is expanded with the past, current and future
centuries. The date closest to today's date is chosen.
R       Future. The year is expanded with the present century.

Or something. The default for DBCENTURY is R.

Some examples:

DBCENTURY       Date            Date            Date
Setting         Entered         Entered         Entered
                03/25/01        12/01/95        10/13/95
----------------------------------------------------------
P               03/25/1901      12/01/1895      10/13/1995

F               03/25/2001      12/01/1995      10/13/2095

C               03/25/2001      12/01/1995      10/13/1995

R               03/25/1901      12/01/1995      10/13/1995

Hope that helps,
--
Mark.

I think you meant to say "Present".

: Some examples:

Please note that these examples were done around November 1995 (sort of a
critical piece of information).  These are not the values you would get today!
