Shared memory for session grows continuously

Shared memory for session grows continuously

Our Java program executes a transaction in a loop. After each iteration
(transaction is properly committed and all ResultSets and Statements are
closed) the shared memory for that session grows until no more shared memory
segments can be acquired.
I would expect that shared memory is released after the transaction is
commited.

Any ideas ?

IDS 7.30.UC8 on AIX 4.3.3
JDBC 2.20JC2

Thanks in advance

Shared memory for session grows continuously

We had a similar problem with I4gl 7.2, IDS 7.30.UC6 on AIX 4.2.1. We had a
program where we switched frequently the database. (CLOSE DATABASE OPEN
database_name). We removed the switch database and instead we work with
synonyms that refer to the tables in the other databases. Our problem was
solved.
