full transactional WEB access to Informix with SQL~Surfer

The middleware SQL~Surfer is a generic gateway between
WEB and RDBMS (native access to DB2, Informix, Oracle,
SQL Server, Sybase - ODBC access to others) on Unix and
NT to any WEB browser and via any Internet Server.
It transparently supports HTML 2, HTML 3, JAVA, Javascript,
VRML, ....
It is a powerful RAD tool which simplifies the devlopment
of real and full transactional Client/Server applications
on the WEB (transaction management, cursor management,
user context management, stored procedures, complex
requests, conditional statements, ...) and takes
advantage of the wide WEB capabilities to supply
attractive and practical Client screen (HTML 3 tables,
Java classes, VRML, master/detail within frames, ...).

Building applications with SQL~Surfer only consists
of writing templates which can be used on any hardware
platform to access any relational database. A template
is a page model which contains, beyond classic HTML tags,

Moreover, A set of JAVA classes uses the SQL~Surfer gateway to
dynamically access databases.

The scalable architecture of SQL~Surfer reduces
database access time and network traffic.
It allows a large number of WEB clients to share
permanent connections to database. So, it is
possible to insure high performance, even on small
hardware platforms.

You can see practical demonstrations and download
evaluation versions on
          http://www.***.com/ .

My name is Doug Johnson and I am the Regional Sales Manager for Soft-tek
International.  We manufacture and market a product called GRAFSMAN.  I
thought since you working with web applications that our new GRAFSMAN /
WWW product could be of use to you.

GRAFSMAN / WWW lets you take data that you have on your database and
produce a graph or chart from that which can be veiwed on your web
browser.  It also can create an automatic image map so that you can then
drill down into that chart to veiw underlying data, pull up a different
chart, or start another application.  We have had a great deal of
interest from companies putting up large inter or intranet sites.  With
GRAFSMAN you can now visualize your data quickly and efficeintly on any
PC with a browser.

If you would like to see a demonstration of this product feel free to
examine our website at http:\\ www.soft-tek.com.  If you have any
questions or would like more information please call me at (316)

Thank you for your time.  I hope this message was helpful.
