5.0 to 7.0 application migration

 5.0 to 7.0 application migration
I have been reading a white paper from the Borland's Web Site about migrating
your applications and tables from 5.0 to 7.0. It does not go into very much detail,
but rather, it just instructs the reader to 'compile them'. So, if I interpret the
instructions right, I would just open a 5.0 form or report, make a small change and
the save it. That should compile it and convert it to 7.0, right? Now, what about the
tables, do I follow the same procedure??

Another question related to this, if I have a bunch of people with Version 5.0, and i recompile
in V7.0, will the forms still work for the v5.0 people???? I assumed so, unless i made a change
that added a feature not fouund in the old version, like the init method or something like
that?? I need to have v7.0 and v5.0 forms coexist....will there be a problem??  Dwight Furleigh
