 Running DOS Programs
Is there a way to run a DOS program using the execute command in Paradox 9?
It is not a command (those run fine), it is a 4 line program I made to pkzip
a directory that is a .bat file.  Can you make Paradox also default to
finding this .bat file in the working directory?

Also, does anyone know how to use an export command with ObjectPAL to export
a table to a DBF instead of an ASCII file?

THANKS!!!
Jason

Jason,

I use the following to run a pkzip batch file.

 cmnd = workingDir() + "\\backmeup.bat " + drvLetter
  execute(cmnd,Yes)

Look at the copy command for tables in order to go to a DBF table.  You just
give the table name you  are copying to the .dbf extension.

HTH,
Carolyn
