 HELP! Record Navigation and table frames

I have developed a form with two pages.  The first contains a full
detail record, the second has a table frame just showing first and
last names.  I have made it so that when you double click a name in
the table frame, it jumps to the detail record on the first page.
However, now that I am on the first page and I press PGDN to go to the
next record, instead it takes me to the name that would be PGDN in the
table frame, skipping all the names in between.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?  Thanks

 HELP! Record Navigation and table frames

You have to trap the PGDN command at the form level or Paradox will treat
it as "Next Record Set". You can use this example as a skeleton and add
your own code:
method keyPhysical(var eventInfo KeyEvent)
var
        kp      string
endvar
   if eventInfo.isPreFilter() then
      ;// This code executes for each object on the form
      kp=eventinfo.vChar()
      if kp="VK_NEXT"  then
         eventInfo.setErrorCode(UserError)
         ;do what I like to do
      endIf
   else
      ;// This code executes only for the form

   endIf
endMethod

Jeff,

        When you click on the name in the table frame, then transfer back to
the first page the "cursor" stays on the frame, it does not
automatically return to the first page.  Somewhere in your code, after
transfering back to the first page, you need to do a   setFocus   to
whatever field you want the "cursor" to be on.  I assume you will want
it to return to the field that you chose, or possibly the next one in
your Tab index.  It's all up to you!

        Good Luck
