Yes, this appears to be the same problem. One way to increase the
number of reports you can print is to switch to a lower printing
resolution-- we actually have an HP4+ printer but use an HPIII driver.
Each page takes less memory resources to print, so you can get out more
reports before a crash. I have also added a counter to the system so
that it will stop printing reports after a certain number. While this
does mean the user must close and open Paradox (this appears to release
the memory resources), it does avoid craching the entire system and any
data corruption that may result.
If ANYONE has ideas beyond waiting for the next version and hoping this
problem is fixed, please share them! One thing I have wondered about,
for instance, is if Borland Report Smith has this problem. If not, this
would be a possible solution, but I would rather not re-design all of my
reports and purchase additional software unless essential.
