Printing Forms in Win Pdox from ObjectPAL
I would like to print a Form from some ObjectPAL code in
paradox for win 1.0.  I see how to do it for reports, but
the same code does not work for forms.

Does anyone know how to do this?  or am I aproaching this
entirely wrong and I must use a report instead of a form?

Also, what is the differance between Windows Paradox 1.0,
1.? and 4.?.  Our University only had a license for 1.0 a
few months ago, but now they have a license for 4.5.  Should
I upgrade?

Pdox/Win 4.5 is faster, more stable and includes ObjectPal commands for some
essential things like import and export that were missing from 1.0  You should
run, not walk, to get your upgrade.

The easiest way to print a form is to use the following code on a pushbutton:

method pushbutton(var eventInfo Event)
self.visible = false ;make the button invisible, unless you want to
                        ;see it on the printout
  menuaction(MenuFilePrint)
  self.visible =true
endmethod

I have a similar problem. I want to copy a Form (all objects) to clipboard
(windows metafile). How can solve this problem?

To print a form, use the following code:

method pushbutton(var eventInfo Event)
  menuAction(MenuFilePrint)
endmethod

If you want to go to a metafile, run the Windows Control Panel and choose
"Connect" to change the port for your printer and connect it to :FILE
