Hi all,

some time ago Nasir Noor posted a problem concerning the different
representation of numbers in variables and tables.
I tried out his example under Pdoxdos 4.5.
I cant reproduce the errors he had. Everything works like expected.

Am I right??
Whats the difference between the DOS and WIN version concerning the
representation of numbers in variables and tables???

This applies to *any* program that uses numbers.. the machine works in
binary, we humans work in decimal.. how do you save "33 1/3" in binary?..

<g>.. variables in memory are precise until you save them to disk..

 x + y + z = something

 [x] + [y] + [z] will not always equal the same thing

Then you get into the whole issue of ROUNDing.. <g>
