Hi all.  Riddle me this:
I just finished a fairly complex db that I designed on a 17" monitor.
I changed the resolution of the display to 800x600x256 to match the
15" monitor this db is supposed to run on.  Guess what?!
When I loaded everything onto this other computer, the forms that were
supposed to take up the full screen were now smaller and centered windows,
the graphic for the logo was overrunning its frame, and some of the field
labels are now to big to fit in their text boxes.

WHAT'S GOING ON??

I read lots of places that said I should be sure and use the same resolution
in designing that the host machine of the software would be using, and that's
what I thought I'd done.  Why does a form that completely fills a 17" monitor
at 800x600x256 only appear as a centered window on a 15"  monitor?  When I
look at Page|Layout, all the dimensions and resolutions are the same for both
monitors.

Please help me.  I'm thoroughly confused.

are especially appreciated!

PS. I've got an ATI WinBoost 64 accelerator card, in case that matters.

All other things being equal, the size of the screen in inches
shouldn't matter- it's the # of pixels in each direction that matter are you
sure it was running at 800x600?

Ken, check out the Dec issue of Paradox Informant.  David Faulkner wrote
an article on forms for differing screen resolutions.  Good Luck.

Your machine with 15" mon is running at 1024x768, obviously.
