 Rounding of numbers in reports
Is there a better way to round up calculations than Round()?
My reports still differ by as much as 2 cents...
Using Pdox 5.0 and win 98
Thanks...

 Rounding of numbers in reports

Paradox uses "Bankers Rounding". From a previous item:
Bankers Rounding is defined so that on a tie (eg: 1.225) the last
digit is even. With Bankers Rounding 1.225 rounds to 1.22 and 1.235
rounds to 1.24

it isn't just the method of rounding that matters.. it's how/when/where
you round the source data, and how/where/when you round the extracted
data and/or the final report data..
