setrange/switchindex putting table into read-only mode

As the subject says - when I run the setrange & switchindex functions,
the table goes into read-only mode.  How do I stop this?  I want the use
to be able to modify records whilst looking at it in a given sequence.

please e-mail

The chances of this happening on its own is about 0.5%. That chance
being that a PdoxWin file is corrupt and needs to be replaced. Reinstall
PdoxWin from scratch. The other 95.5% chance is that you have some bad
code that is running without your knowledge that is doing this to you. I
would look for every endEdit() in your code and put the following right
after it:

view("An EndEdit Just Happened")

I suspect you will see this message. If you make the messages slightly
different you'll even know which one it is.

I had a similar problem caused because the index I was switching to was
defined as NOT maintained (much to my surprise!).  Check to see how your
indices are defined.
